Erin and Matt’s Penn State Wedding
Erin and Matt were married on a windy, but beautiful day in March on the campus of Penn State University. The guys and girls both dressed at the Nittany Lion Inn, then rode the Molley Trolley to the ceremony at Eisenhower Chapel.

Emily – Dance Portraits
I often get the pleasure of combining two of my passions, dance and photography. Since I am a dancer, photographing dancers gives me great satisfaction in both areas. Jim loves dancers because of the wonderful body control they have!

PA Academy of the Arts Spring Portraits – Dance Photography
This is our first year photographing the dancers at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Arts, located in Potters Mills, PA. The school is owned by Sarah and Chuck Mason, and we were thrilled when they contacted us about providing portraits for their dancers. Penn State Ice Show Portraits – State College Photographer
It’s hard to believe that this is our sixth year photographing the skaters for the Penn State Ice Show! In addition to doing their portraits, we also photograph their performance each year. This year’s performance is scheduled for April 13 and 14 at the Penn State Ice Pavilion on the University Park Campus – come to the show if you can!
45 hours, 35 games, 10,580 photos later…
Today is Thursday, and I think we may have finally recovered from photographing the 2012 Hockey Valley Invitational Tournament last weekend! The tournament is an annual event run by the State College Junior Icers Hockey Team, and brings teams from around the state and eastern U.S. to the Penn State Ice Pavilion for a long weekend of competitive hockey.

Off to Erin and Matt’s Wedding
It’s a windy, but beautiful day for a wedding, especially in March, and we’re off to spend the day with Erin and Matt, who are getting married at the Eisenhower Chapel on the Penn State Campus. We’re planning a campus photo tour before the Nittany Lion Inn reception, and we hope the wind doesn’t blow our light stands over (or anyone off the Lion Shrine!).

Noelle and Ashod’s Wedding
We’ve known Noelle and her family for many years, so we were thrilled when she called and asked us to photograph her wedding to Ashod. They were married at a private residence in Centre Hall, and after a wonderful outdoor ceremony we were able to sneak the newlyweds away for a few photos around the beautiful farm (complete with a barn and pond, which make for great backgrounds!). Then it was off to the reception at the Ramada Inn for a night filled with family and friends.

Liz and Josh’s New Year’s Eve Wedding
What better way to ring in the New Year than with a new beginning!
Liz and Josh were married on New Year’s Eve at Saint John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Bellefonte. Since sunset is so early this time of year, we set up a “first look” at Talleyrand Park before the evening ceremony. The weather was cooperative (no snow or rain!) and we were able to get some photos of the bride and groom and the wedding party in Talleyrand and in front of the Centre County Courthouse before heading to St. John’s. The church was still beautifully decorated with Poinsettias and lights for the holiday season (a bonus for any holiday wedding), and Woodrings Floral Gardens did an amazing job of adding to the holiday decor! After a beautiful ceremony, Liz and Josh exited the church through a tunnel of sparklers to the waiting limo, and we were off to the reception at the Ramada Conference Center in State College. It was a wonderful night full of family and friends, with the DJ, Justin Hill, keeping the dance floor full, a delicious cake (as usual!) from Delectable Delights by Heather Luse, - and lots of New Year’s Eve party favors 
They ended the night with a live video feed of the Times Square countdown!

Michele and Corey’s Wedding at The Inn at Edgewater Acres
Michele and Corey were married at the Inn at Edgewater Acres, a lovely Inn nestled in the South Central Mountains of Pennsylvania. After the ceremony, which was held out on the lawn overlooking the water, the bride and groom snuck away for a few moments before returning through a flurry of bubbles from their families and friends. The water made a beautiful backdrop for the family photos and photos of the wedding party. We also got some great shots of the newlyweds alone before heading inside for the reception. The entertainment was provided by Local Motion Entertainment, and the floral design was from Daniel Vaughn Desings - amazing, as always. Congratulations Michele and Corey!
